Anna Lorene Lagenour

Anna Lorene Lagenour, 97, of Hillham, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on August 15th, 2021 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.

She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on February 2nd, 1924 to George E. and Maggie L. (Wininger) Howerton.

Lorene married Albert Lagenour on January 18th, 1941 and he preceded her in death on February 27th, 2010.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, (1) Brother – George Howerton; (4) Sisters – Mary Lois Howerton, Dorothy Hagen, Catherine Lagenour and Violet Baer; (1) Grandchild – Norman Lagenour; and (1) Son-in-law – Randy Keele.

Lorene was a member of the Hillham Church of Christ in Christian Union and the French Lick Senior Citizens.

She enjoyed painting, crocheting, quilting and spending time with friends and family.

Lorene is survived by:

(2) Sons Lowell Albert Lagenour (Doris) of Kolene, Indiana
William L. Lagenour (Bonny) of Hillham, Indiana

(1) Daughter Lorna Jean Keele of Phoenix, Arizona

(9) Grandchildren Several Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren


FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Mike Grable on Monday, August 23rd, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Emmons Ridge Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 22nd, 2021 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Per the request of the family, masks will be mandatory for all who attend the visitation or funeral service due to health concerns of family members. We also ask all who attend to practice proper social distancing.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Emmons Ridge Cemetery Fund, c/o Kathy Kalb, 2494 Hillham Road, French Lick, Indiana 47432.
