Betty June Meehan, 86 years young, of West Baden Springs, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on September 14th, 2016 at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper, Indiana.
She was born in Orange County, Indiana on June 18th, 1930 to William âBillâ and Grace (Allen) Abel. She was one of twelve children in the farming family that lived in Northwest Township. Betty was the last surviving member of her siblings.
Betty married Floyd Thomas Meehan on December 21st, 1946 in West Baden Springs and he preceded her in death on May 28th, 2001 after 54 years of marriage. Betty married Forrest Kerby on March 9th, 2002 and became a member of the Ames Chapel Methodist Church. Forrest also preceded her in death on September 23rd, 2005. Later in life, Betty became good friends and a companion to Russell Lewis who passed away on August 18th, 2013.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, (11) Brothers and Sisters and (1) Grandson â John Meehan.
Betty was a homemaker and assisted Floyd on the family farm until he retired from farming. She also enjoyed cooking and being with family.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel. Burial will follow at the Bonds Chapel Cemetery in West Baden Springs, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may call on Monday, September 19th, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Chapel in French Lick, Indiana.
