Bill York

Bill York, 96 of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on November 22nd, 2025 at Huntington Hospital in Huntington Town, New York.

He was born in Beattyville, Kentucky on April 25th, 1929 to Claude and Geneva (Hall) York.

Bill married Dolores Vaughn on August 12th, 1950 and she preceded him in death on May 12th, 2025.

He was also preceded in death by his Parents and Son – Kevin York.

Bill graduated from Norris City High School, proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Beechwood Christian Church. He was a tour guide for Indiana Landmarks at the West Baden Springs Hotel and retired from Texas Eastern.

He enjoyed golfing, playing cards and being on a lake whether it was boating or fishing. Bill especially loved spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by:

Son – Mike York (Delonda) of English, Indiana

Daughter – Pamela Zaid (Stewart) of Fort Salonga, New York

(6) Grandchildren – Cory, Brandi, Josh, Hillary, Seth and Brittany

(7) Great-Grandchildren

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Neil Kenyon on Saturday, November 29th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Ames Chapel Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday, November 29th, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
