Billie Joe Hopper

Billie Joe “Bill” Hopper, 69, of Dubois, Indiana entered into eternal rest on July 22nd, 2023 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare, Jasper, Indiana.

He was born at Camp Roberts, California on August 26th, 1953 to Charles “Eddie” and Menerva Ellen (Riggle) Hopper.

Billie married Beatrice “Bea” Brosmer on June 28th, 1975 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and (1) Brother – Charles Eugene “Gene” Hopper.

Billie had worked at Uebelhor and Sons and then French Lick Auto before retiring as a mechanic and maintenance.

He loved to fish, working on cars and being with family and friends.

Billie is survived by:

Wife – Bea Hopper of Dubois, Indiana

(1) Son – Jared Hopper (Lynley Bennett) of Birdseye, Indiana

(2) Daughters – Amy Jones (Phillip) of Dubois, Indiana
                         Carrie Newlin (Danny) of Dubois, Indiana

(1) Brother – Floyd E. (Pete) Hopper (Dora) of West Baden Springs, Indiana

(2) Sisters – Sharon D. Wininger of West Baden Springs, Indiana
                   Bonnie Kellams of West Baden Springs, Indiana

(7) Grandchildren    (4) Great - Grandchildren

VISITATION 
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, July 28th, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.

Burial will be at a later date at Ames Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center, 800 W. 9th Street, Jasper, IN 47546.
