Billy Joe Evans

Billy Joe Evans, 70, of West Baden Springs, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 14th, 2018 at Hosparus Health in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born on May 20th, 1948 in Orange County, Indiana to Paris Evans and Alvina (Hinkle) Evans Johnson.

Billy Joe was preceded in death by his parents, (1) Brother – Bobby Gene Evans and (1) Sister – Betty Lou Reid.

He served our country in the United States Army where he served in Vietnam, was a member of French Lick American Legion Post 76 and retired from Indiana Laborer’s Union #741, Terre Haute, Indiana.

Billy Joe was an avid IU and Indianapolis Colts fan, enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting, and loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by:

(4) Daughters Christie Livingston (Michael) English, Indiana
Stefany Hardin (Chad) Jasper, Indiana
Rachel Cummings (Cody) French Lick, Indiana
Melanie Evans Fort Morgan, Colorado

(1) Brother James A. Evans (Cathy) West Baden Springs, Indiana

Also surviving is his dog and best friend Tiny.

Celebration of Life Service
Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at the Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church, French Lick, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Charlie’s Angels; c/o Cathy Chaplin
