Carl A. Fox
Carl A. Fox, age 73, of Orleans, Indiana, formerly of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on October 24th, 2019 at IU Health Bloomington.
He was born in Orange County, Indiana on July 22nd, 1946 to Davie A. Fox and Locia E. (Proffitt) Fox.
Carl married Billie J. Allen on January 1st, 1966 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; (1) Son – David W. Fox; (1) Grandson – Daniel B. Allbright; (4) Brothers – Hobart, Hughie, Eugene and Edward Fox; (6) Sisters – Ruby, Viola, Geraldine, Bernice, and Nina.
Carl was a member of Youngs Creek Church of Christ and retired from U.S. Gypsum after 33 years where he was lead man in the board plant.
He had attended Springs Valley High School and served in the United States Army.
Carl loved fishing, gardening, telling jokes and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by:

(2) Daughters Carla Miller (Rodney) Washington, Indiana
Debra L. Prewitt Paoli, Indiana
(1) Sister Christine Nelson West Baden Springs, Indiana
(6) Grandchildren – Ryan Miller (Jamie); Elisha Dewig; Tricia Russell (Curtis); David Allbright (Jacob); Kaitlynn Prewitt; and Tylar Prewitt.
(4) Great-grandchildren – Emma, Brody, Henry and Clara.
The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor David Galloway on Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick, Indiana.
Friends may call from 12:00 (noon) until the time of service at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Mount Lebanon Cemetery Fund, c/o Wayne Ferguson, 9711 W. State Rd 56, French Lick, Indiana 47432.
