Carolyn Underhill

Carolyn Underhill, 69, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on December 7th, 2022 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana.

She was born in Paoli, Indiana on August 3rd, 1953 to Paul and Lois Juanita (Davis) Purkhiser.

Carolyn married Kenny Ray Underhill on October 19th, 1969 and he preceded her in death on October 1st, 2016.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; (2) Sons – John Paul Underhill and Kelly Underhill; and (1) Daughter – Suzanne Andry. 

Carolyn retired from Springs Valley Meadows in May and had worked there for 28 years.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed watching basketball, being with family and loved her job. 

Carolyn is survived by:

(1) Son – Chris Underhill of Seymour, Indiana        

(1) Brother – Paul Purkhiser Jr. of West Baden Springs, Indiana

(3) Sisters – Paula Evans (Jim) of Indianapolis, Indiana
                   Judy Prow (Ed) of French Lick, Indiana
                   Dee Skaggs (Paul) of West Baden Springs, Indiana
                 
 (5) Grandchildren        (3) Great-Grandchildren            

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Nate Daniels on Saturday, December 10th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation will be on Friday, December 9th, 2022 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday December 10th, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
 

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Mount Lebanon Cemetery Fund in c/o Shane Buffington 7735 W County Pike Road West Baden Springs, Indiana 47469.
