Charlene "Kay" Sorrels

Charlene “Kay” Sorrels, 84 of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on May 3rd, 2026 at Red Crest Hospice House in Bloomington, Indiana.

She was born in Illinois on January 16th, 1942 to Charles and Elizabeth (Hackett) Donaldson.

Kay married the love of her life Dale Gordon Sorrels on January 13th, 2009 and he preceded her in death on April 8th, 2016.

She was also preceded in death by her Parents; Brothers – John, James, and Charles “Ron” Donaldson; Sister – Marion Hamilton and Nephew – Donald Donaldson.

Kay is survived by:

Son – Dale Sorrels, Jr.

Nieces – Jaimie Chladek, Elizabeth Donaldson and Tammy Lorz.

Nephews – Martin Hamilton, Shawn Donaldson, Charles Donaldson, Jr. and John Donaldson, Jr.

Many Great and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews also survive.

A Private burial will be in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
