Charles Chestnut

Charles Chestnut, 67 of West Baden Springs, Indiana entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 27th, 2020 at Springs Valley Meadows, French Lick, Indiana.

He was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on January 2nd, 1953 to Elisha “Bud” Chestnut and Erika (Schlichting) Chestnut.

Charles married Patricia Anne McBride on June 5th, 1976 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his Parents.

Charles was a 1972 graduate of Dubois High School; member of the Nicholson Valley Christian Church where he was a Deacon; and had worked in woodworking factories where he assembled furniture.

He loved fishing, model cars and was an avid joke teller.

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Al Madden at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 at Nicholson Valley Church with burial at Cuzco Cemetery.

VISITATION

Friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at Nicholson Valley Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Cuzco Cemetery Fund, c/o Peggy Burton, 5769 N. Cuzco Road South, Dubois, IN 47527.
