Chester "Mackie" A. McDonald III

Chester "Mackie" Arthur McDonald III, age 45, of Pinckney, Michigan formerly of French Lick, Indiana passed away on August 30th, 2014.

He was born on January 26th, 1969 in Germany to Chester and Mary (Allstott) McDonald.

He graduated with the Springs Valley High School Class of 1987.

Chester served in the United States Army and National Guard for six years. He also worked as an account manager in the Automotive & Publishing in Indiana for several years.

Chester was a true fisherman to the core. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.


He is survived by:

Wife           Dianna McDonald Pinckney, Michigan

(1) Son         Christopher A. Martinez French Lick, Indiana

(2) Daughters   Hailea McDonald Jasper, Indiana
                 Morgan Elizabeth McDonald French Lick, Indiana

(1) Step-Daughter Ann Leshinski Colorado

(7) Grandchildren Connor, Ava, Von, Nolan, Kacey and Garran

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 5th, 2014, at Our Lady of The Springs Catholic Church in French Lick, Indiana. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 4th, 2014 at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM on Friday until the time of service at the church.

Father Peter Marshall will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Moore’s Ridge Cemetery.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Farley Hill Elementary School in memory of Mackie, 8110 Farley Road, Pinckney, Michigan 48169.
