Christina Lynn Mahan

October 29, 1975 — February 3, 2017

Christina Lynn Mahan, 41 years young, of West Baden Springs, Indiana entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 3rd, 2017 at Jewish Hospital, Louisville, Kentucky.

She was born in Subic Bay, Philippines on October 29th, 1975 to John Adams and Cheryl (Reed) Payne.

Christina married the love of her life, Jesse Mahan on February 2nd, 2000 and he survives.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Christina was a member of Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church, a 1993 graduate of Springs Valley High School, a 1997 graduate of Ball State University where she majored in Elementary Education and Severe and Profound Handicap Education.  She was also a member Alpha Phi Omega at Ball State and Ball State Alumni.

Christina’s love and devotion to children was evident as she was always surrounded by them no matter where she was. She was a 3rd Grade Teacher’s Assistant for Mrs. Burton’s class, Ms. Tucker’s class and Ms. Robbins' class. She had recently taken over the position of Math Bowl Coach at Springs Valley School Corporation and also worked at Fast Eddie’s, where her strong work ethic was evident and will be greatly missed.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE CEREMONY
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, February 11th, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at Brosmer- Kemple Chapel by Rev. Doug Finney.

VISITATION
Visitation will be Saturday, February 11th, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Brosmer-Kemple Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The I CAN scholarship fund In Memory of Christina Lynn Mahan, C/O Orange County Community Foundation, 1075 North Sandy Hook Road, Suite 2, Paoli, Indiana 47454.
