Wanted to just say I am so sorry for your loss. I was doing family research on Essie Thornton, cousin to my dad  Claude Byrd and ran  across the obituary. Once again so sorry for your loss. May she be having a wonderful reunion with all of  the love ones who have gone before her.

We want to extend our deepest sympathy to Howard and family.  I enjoyed visiting with Cleo very much. She loved her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed here on earth but no doubt in our minds she is in her Heavenly home with Granny Bird and Cliff, Virginia and our mom waiting for us. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Howard and family,
Please know how sorry I am for the loss of Cleo. The most powerful memory I have of her is that she loved her family and mostly that she loved The Lord. She is finally out of pain and in Heaven, where she knew she was going. Much happiness for her.

Miss Me - But Let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free.

Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss Me - But Let Me Go.

For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone
It's all a part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss Me - But Let me Go.

To my sister that I loved dearly..
   In our sadness,
    may there be hope...
    In our thoughts,
    may there be peace...
    In our hearts,
    may there be healing.
