Cleo Elizabeth “Thornton†Lang, age 81, of French Lick, Indiana passed away May 16th, 2014, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.
She was born on May 14th, 1933 in Raiford, Florida to Lindsey Leo and Essie Jane Thornton.
Cleo married Howard Mack Lang on May 30th, 1951 in Kathleen, Florida and he survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and (1) Sister – Ruby Jewel “Thornton†Sikes.
She graduated from Archer High School Class of 1951 in Archer, Florida.
Cleo was a member of the Crystal Community Church in Crystal, Indiana.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by:
Husband Howard Mack Lang French Lick, Indiana
(1) Son John Alistair Lang (Sherree) French Lick, Indiana
(3) Daughters Elizabeth Jane “Lang†Switzer (Dan) Mount Holly, North Carolina
Susan Lynne “Lang†Thompson (James) Latta, South Carolina
Nancy Jean “Lang†Anderson French Lick, Indiana
(1) Sister Margaret “Thornton†Dobbs Acworth, Georgia
(3) Grandchildren (3) Great-Grandchildren
Cremation was chosen and a private service will be held at a later date.
