Cora Mae Beaty

Cora Mae Beaty, 82, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on January 18th, 2023 at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, Indiana surrounded by her family.

She was born in Hendricks County, Indiana on May 30th, 1940 to Alva Lee Bennett and Grace Louise (Haga) Stroud.

Cora Mae married Marvin “Pee Wee” Beaty on August 26th, 1955 and he preceded her in death on October 31st, 2006.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; (1) Brother – Maurice Keith Bennett; (1) Sister – Donna Maxine Terry; and (2) Step-sisters – Leatta Conrad and Betty Jean Wilson.

Cora Mae retired from Kimball International and attended the Springs Valley Wesleyan Church.

She enjoyed Bingo, going out to eat, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.

Cora Mae is survived by:

(1) Son – Ronnie Beaty of French Lick, Indiana

(1) Daughter – Julia Ann Bartlett (Jerry) of West Baden Springs, Indiana

(3) Sisters – Nancy Louise Beaty of Mitchell, Indiana
                    Helen Marie Terry of French Lick, Indiana
                    Carol Lee Kern of Jasper, Indiana

(2) Half-Sisters – Teresa Fitzpatrick of Ardmore, Oklahoma
                            Judy Copeland of Campbellsburg, Indiana

(2) Step-Sisters – Lolita Stroud of Akron, Indiana
                            Mona Hammond of French Lick, Indiana

(6) Grandchildren        (12) Great-Grandchildren            

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Springs Valley Wesleyan Church with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

VISITATION
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
