Dennis "Jargo" Jones

January 2, 1945 — August 1, 2012

Dennis “Jargo” Jones, age 67, of French Lick, Indiana passed away August 1, 2012  at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana.

He was born on January 2nd, 1945 in French Lick, Indiana to Joel G. Jones and Hattie Edna (Harris) Jones.

Jargo was a CPA and the French Lick Clerk-Treasurer.

He graduated from Springs Valley High School with the Class of 1963 and also graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Political Science and as a Certified Public Accountant.

After college, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served during the Vietnam Era.

Jargo was a member of the French Lick American Legion Post 76.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He  is survived by:

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 4th, 2012 at 11:00am in the chapel of the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home French Lick, Indiana. Friends may call on Friday, August 3rd, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00pm and also Saturday, August 4th, 2012 from 9:00am until the time of service at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home. Military Gravesite Rites will conducted by the French Lick American Legion Post 76.

Mike Grabel will officiate.

Burial will be at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Springs Valley Food Bank, C/O Susan Toothman, 3078 North County Road 775 West, West Baden Springs, Indiana 47469.
