Dorletta Rainey

Dorletta Rainey, 80 of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on June 30th, 2026 at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick.

She was born in Linton, Indiana on January 20th, 1946 to Orville Willis and Mildred Loise (Jones) Knight.

Dorletta married Hubert Rainey and he survives.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Brother – Robert “Pi” Knight; Sisters – Sandy Rainey and Marilyn Tomlinson; and Sons – Ronald Rainey and Victor Rainey.

Dorletta worked for the French Lick Hotel and was a witness at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She loved Elvis Presley and collecting Indians and Owls.

Husband – Hubert Rainey

Son – Chad Rainey (Angie)

Brother – Wayne Knight

Grandchildren – Lynley Bennett and Jonica Hall

Cremation was chosen.
