Edward "Ed" Beck

Edward E. “Ed” Beck, age 84, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on September 30th, 2026 at Springs Valley Meadows.

He was born in Dubois, Indiana on November 21st, 1941 to Joseph and Edna (McLane) Beck.

Ed married Judy Ann Phillips, they were married 62 years and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and (1) Sister – Hilda Hendrickson.

Ed was a 1960 graduate of Springs Valley High School, proudly served his country in the United States Army in Germany, and retired from Reynolds, Inc. as a field mechanic. He was well known for his hard work, mechanical skills, and fabricating. Ed was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandpa and a God-fearing man who loved Jesus, his family and friends.

He enjoyed watching westerns, listening to Johnny Cash and Hank Williams, and working on John Deere tractors.

Wife – Judy Beck

Sons – David Beck, Timothy Beck and James Beck (Gina)

Daughter – Teena Cook (William)

Brother – Robert Beck (Carolyn)

Sister – Elizabeth Beck Anderson

Grandchildren – Alyissa Beck and Landon Vanlaningham (Sabreanna Nelson)

Great- Grandchild - Myla

As per wishes cremation was chosen with no services.
