Elvin P. Freeman

Elvin P. Freeman, 75, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on October 4th, 2024 at Paoli Health and Living, Paoli, Indiana.

He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 12th, 1949 to Clarence and Edith (Galloway) Freeman.

Elvin was preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers – Ronald, Clair and Gary; and Sisters – Leatha Freeman and Joyce Thomas.

He was a 1967 graduate of Springs Valley High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era. Elvin was member of French Lick Masonic Lodge #586 and French Lick American Legion Post 76.

Elvin worked in the food industry where he served as manager of several restaurants and had owned the Hoosier Buffet.

He retired from Medco where he was over maintenance.

He enjoyed landscaping, his flower garden, researching genealogy of the family history, and being with family.

Elvin is survived by:

Brothers – Merrill, Walter, Gerald, Harold, Russell, Michael, Randy and Rudy Freeman

Sisters – Viletta Harrah, Zoe Nelson and Jeanie Seybold

Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

GRAVESIDE CEREMONY

A Graveside Ceremony will be conducted by Bro. Joe Crow on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Sulphur Creek Cemetery with burial to follow in Sulphur Creek Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites conducted by French Lick American Legion Post 76.

VISITATION 

Visitation for friends and family will be Monday, October 7th, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana. A masonic service will be held at 7:00 p.m. conducted by French Lick Masonic Lodge #586.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sulphur Creek Cemetery, c/o Ronnie Catt,
