He was born in Emmons Ridge on December 7th, 1934 to Emil and Clara (Lewis) Emmons.
Estel married Thelma Brown on December 22nd, 1954 and she preceded him in death on May 5th, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Brothers – George “Buddy” Emmons, Emil Emmons Jr., Sister – Audra Anderson and Son-in-Law – Ralph McBride.
Estel attended Shoals High School, proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from Crane.
Estel enjoyed hunting, golfing, fishing, but most of all he loved his beloved wife and family.
He is survived by:
Daughters – Connie Brewer (Don) of French Lick, Indiana
Angie McBride of French Lick, Indiana
Brother – Bill Emmons of Hillham, Indiana
Sister – Wanda Buffington of Mitchell, Indiana
(5) Grandchildren – Jenifer Ridenour, Aaron Kellams, Brooke Buffington, Derek McBride, and Beau Kellams.
(5) Step-Grandchildren – Kami Brunnworth, Tierney Phelps and Risha Warren, Donovan Brewer and Tisha Brewer.
(13) Great-Grandchildren – Jaron Alexander, Jayton Alexander, Joely Alexander, Payton Buffington, Addi Pieper, Blake Buffington, Cash Ridenour, Emerson Kellams, Hank Ridenour, Jewell Clara Ridenour, Reece Kellams,
Renly Kellams, and Rogan Kellams.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony for Estel and Thelma will be conducted by Pastor Mike Stout on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 at
1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Emmons Ridge Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation for Estel and Thelma will be Saturday, May 11th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Emmons Ridge Cemetery, c/o Kathy Kalb,
2494 Hillham Road, French Lick, IN 47432.
