Frank Loomis Land, 85 years young, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on September 1st, 2016 at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, Indiana.
He was born in French Lick, Indiana on June 21st, 1931 to Edgar and Bessie (Jaeki) Land.
Frank married Mary Jean Haag on September 1st, 1951 and she preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, (3) Brothers â Edward Jr., Everett and John Land; and (3) Sisters â Agnes Sula, Helen Belcher and Maria Land.
Frank was a member of the French Lick American Legion Post 76, a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, was a founding member of the Springs Valley Exchange Club and the clubâs 2nd President.
He served his country in the United States Air Force. While in the United States Air Force, he was a secretary to the Adjutant General at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, Frank came back to Indiana and started a career in Paoli working for Cliff Hardman as a Loan Officer for American Security. Several years later, he started his own business in West Baden Springs buying and selling used cars. He continued that business successfully for over 40 years.
Frank was loved by not only his family but many people in the community and his presence will be greatly missed.

FUNERAL MASS
A Mass Ceremony will be conducted by Fr. Benjamin Syberg at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in French Lick, Indiana. Burial will follow in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
VISITATION
Friends may call Tuesday, September 6th, 2016 from 5:00 â 8:00 p.m. at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Mount Lebanon Cemetery Fund or to Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in Memory of Frank Land.
