Geneva (Burton) Nigg, age 89, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on November 30th, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in New Albany, Indiana.
She was born in French Lick, Indiana on August 15th, 1926 to Harry L. and Lucy M. (Weaver) Burton.
She married Henry J. Nigg on May 12th, 1951 and he preceded her in death on October 25th, 2000.
Geneva was also preceded in death by her parents and (16) brothers and sisters.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in French Lick, Indiana. She was a homemaker.
Geneva is survived by:
(2) Sons Larry Nigg (Nancy) French Lick, Indiana
Terry Nigg (Carrie) Sellersburg, Indiana
(1) Sister Sue Burton Bloomington, Indiana
(1) Special Granddaughter Kristy Andis (Rob) Paoli, Indiana
(6) Grandchildren (5) Great-Grandchildren
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Graveside Ceremony will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4th, 2015 by Father Tom Clegg at Ames Chapel Cemetery in Paoli, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may call on Friday, December 4th, 2015 at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The family requests memorial contributions be made in memory of Geneva to the Ames Chapel Cemetery Fund, 5368 W. US Highway 150, Paoli, Indiana 47454 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 200.90.
