Harold “Jiggs” Walters, 88, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on May 15th, 2024 at his residence.
He was born in Elon, Indiana on May 27th, 1935 to Porter Elwood and Alma Jane (Young) Walters.
Harold married Mary Lou Kerns on December 3rd, 1955 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers – Clarence, Glen, Carrol and Norman Walters, Sisters – Joan Cook, Anna Grunden, Mary Kearby, Betty Lou and Jane Walters and Daughter-in-Law – Melissa Spurgeon Walters.
Harold was a 1954 graduate of French Lick High School, proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Medic in the Korean War and retired from US Steel and Bender Lumber.
He was a member of Cane Creek Christian Church and Newton Stewart Masonic Lodge #432 F&AM.
Harold enjoyed mowing and taking care of his yard, carpentry where he built several homes for his family, helping others and spending time with family.

John Walters (Jamie) of Lake Forest, Illinois
Daughter – Debra Lankford (Ray) of French Lick, Indiana
Brother – Wayne Walters (Dorothy) of Paoli, Indiana
Grandchildren – Nacole Walters, Cody Walters, Ashley (Andy) Rostron, Ron Knapp, III and Lily Walters

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Rick Englehardt on Sunday, May 19th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 19th, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cane Creek Cemetery, c/o Darwin Beck 5090 S. County Road 1175 W., French Lick, Indiana 47432.
