Herbert Dale Montgomery

Herbert Dale Montgomery, age 48, of Paoli, Indiana entered into eternal rest on August 14th, 2015 at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, Indiana.

He was born on October 1st, 1966 in Anderson, Indiana to Forrest Herbert and Nondas Marie Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dale was a Sons of American Legion member of the French Lick American Legion Post #76, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and was an avid hunter.

He graduated from the Springs Valley High School Class of 1985.


He is survived by:

(1) Son         Aaron Montgomery French Lick, Indian

(1) Daughter   Kellie Montgomery French Lick, Indiana

(1) Sister Arbutus Montgomery East Oolitic, Indiana

Many loving friends and neighbors also survive.


A Graveside Ceremony will be held 3:30 PM on Sunday, August 16th, 2015, at the Ames Chapel Cemetery in Paoli, Indiana. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Sunday at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the Ames Chapel Cemetery.

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home 9640 W. State Rd. 56 French Lick, In. 47432.

I worked with Dale at the Paoli Peaks over the winter, and he was a great guy. Always had a smile, and very well respected by many of his co-workers. Dale will be missed by many. My condolences for his family and his friends. I will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts.
