Herbert A. Shuster

Herbert A. “Herbie” Shuster, age 88, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on April 4th, 2026 at Springs Valley Meadows.

He was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania on March 4th, 1938 to Joseph E. and Maude M. (Deemer) Shuster.

Herbie was preceded in death by his parents and was one of ten children and the last to survive.

He worked in the printing industry for many years in Chicago, Illinois and Madison, Wisconsin. He moved to French Lick in 1996 where he worked for six years in the laundry at the French Lick Resort and retired in 2003.

Herbie enjoyed fishing and weed-eating their property and just sitting on the porch.

He is survived by:

Wife – Betty Lou Shuster of French Lick

Daughter – Theresa Berry

Grandson – Zechariah Berry and one Great-Grandchild

Step-Daughter – Renee M. Morrison (Tim)

Step-Grandchildren – Kimberly Morrison, Andrew Simon, Jacquelyn Engleman (Joey), Corrina Smith (Ethan),

Bryan Simon, and (8) Step-Great-Grandchildren

Sister-In-Law – Darlene Kirch

There will be no funeral service as cremation was chosen.
