Jacqueline “Biron†Diffendarfer, age 74, loving wife of Rex A. Diffendarfer of French Lick, Indiana passed away on March 31st, 2014 at her residence in French Lick, Indiana after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Jackie was born on May 2nd, 1939 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late William J. and Vivian R. “Carothers†Biron.
She married Rex Diffendarfer on March 2nd, 1982 and he survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jackie loved to cook and bake and was known for her famous desserts. She will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.

David Shireman South Bend, Indiana
(1) Daughter Debra Ferguson (William) Higganum, Connecticut
(2) Sisters Barbara Conway (Art) Waitsfield, Vermont
Carole Gross (James) South Bend, Indiana
(1) Brother William Biron (Susan) Mishawaka, Indiana
(6) Grandchildren Andrew, Tyler and Lauren Tordanato Higganum, Connecticut
Evan, Faith and Noah Shireman South Bend, Indiana
(3) Step Children Pam Tuck French Lick, Indiana
Ken Diffendarfer Clearwater, Florida
Diana Clark (David) Naperville, Illinois
(5) Step-Grandchildren Laurel, Hunter, Zachary, Jessaca and Shannon
(1) Step-Great-Grandchild Danzig
A special cousin – Sharon Moffitt of New Carlisle, Indiana along with several nieces and nephews also survive Jackie.
A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on April 5th, 2014 at the Wickliffe United Methodist Church in Eckerty, Indiana.
Officiating- Rev. Joe Hollen and Rev. Doug Finney.
Cremation was chosen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made In Memory of Jacqueline Diffendarfer to Hospice Southern Care Inc, 1923 Liberty Drive, Bloomington, Indiana 47403 or to the Palliative Care Unit at Memorial Hospital, 800 West 9th Street, Jasper, Indiana 47546.
