He was born in French Lick, Indiana on February 6th, 1945 to Paris Edward and Alvina (Hinkle) Evans.
Jim married Cathi Flick on February 17th, 1973 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Sister – Betty Lou Reid; and Brothers – Bobby Gene and Billy Joe Evans.
Jim was a member of the French Lick American Legion Post 76 and had worked as a backhoe operator.
He was an avid sports person with a special love for horse racing.
James is survived by:
Wife - Cathi Evans of West Baden Springs, Indiana
Son – James Wallace Evans of West Baden Springs, Indiana
Granddaughter – Carrie Ann Moore
Great-Grandson – Devin Moore
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Ron Yarbough on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Emmons Ridge Cemetery.
VISITATION
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
