I am saddened by the passing of my high school classmate and dear friend. Jim was a very special person. My life was blessed by his friendship. I can still remember our little gang of seven sitting in the corner booth at Bill's Restaurant across from the high school having our lunch each school day. I also remember the number of times Jim and I challenged each other in a drag race down by the bridges. I think we shared in the wins. We had a small club back then called the "Racing Six Club." Just a small group of teenagers all driving six-cylinder cars. To Laura and family my deepest sympathy. Jim will be greatly missed. My love and prayers go out to you.
