James W. Evans

James W. Evans, 52, of West Baden Springs, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on November 25th, 2025 at his residence.

He was born in Bedford, Indiana on August 20th, 1973 to James Alfred and Cathi (Flick) Evans.

J.W. was preceded in death by his Father; Paternal Grandmother – Alvina Johnson; Paternal Grandfather – Paris Evans; and Maternal Grandfather – Wallace Flick.

He had worked construction and at U.S. Gypsum.

J.W. enjoyed mushroom hunting and fishing with his Papaw Wally for many years. He loved animals and had a special bond with his cat Yellow, but more than anything, he loved his family.

He is survived by:

Mother – Cathi Evans

Daughter – Carrie Ann Moore

Grandson – Devin Moore

Aunts and Uncles – Steve and Sherri Hayes and Ron and Vicki Yarbrough

Also survived by his cousins.

CREMATION

Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date.
