Joan Knight, 78, of West Baden Springs, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on September 6th, 2020 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.
She was born in Huntingburg, Indiana on July 10th, 1942 to Jerome Peterson and Fronia (Partenheimer) Weigel.
Joan married Ray Knight on May 16th, 1986 and he survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jerome Peterson and Fronia and Edward Weigel; (1) Sister – Jo Ann Messmer and (1) Daughter – Traci Harrington.
Joan was a 1960 graduate of Holland High School.
She enjoyed working with children and had worked for the WIC Program in Warrick, Spencer, Pike and Perry Counties for many years and for the Head Start Program in Lawrence County.
Joan enjoyed gardening, crosswords and spending time with her family.
She is survived by:

Many Nephews and Nieces also survive.
A Graveside Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Ames Chapel Cemetery, Paoli, Indiana.
Friends may call on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana.
We ask that all who attend please comply to social distancing guidelines and wear a face covering while paying your respects to the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Linda E. White Hospice House, 611 Harriet Street, Evansville, IN 47710.
