John Renner Jr.

John Renner, Jr., age 92, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 at Ascension

St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel, Indiana.

He was born in French Lick, Indiana on March 3rd, 1927 to John Henry Renner and Lillian Marie (Mitchell) Renner.

John married Jo Anne Stackhouse and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and (1) Sister – Dorothy Willard.

John was a member of the Springs Valley United Methodist Church, Life Member of American Legion Post 76, Power and Communications Contractors Association, where he was a past president, and one of the founding members of French Lick Municipal Airport, where he was a multi-engine instructor.

He proudly served his country in the United State Army in World War II as a Master Sergeant.

John was founder and operator of United, Inc. and had worked most of his life starting and managing construction companies. 

He enjoyed flying, traveling, fishing, spending time with family and especially loved the time and special bond he had with his son.

John is survived by:

FUNERAL CEREMONY

The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Dennis Adams and Rev. Doug Finney on Friday, January 31st, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home in French Lick, Indiana.  Burial will follow in Ames Chapel Cemetery in Paoli, Indiana.

VISITATION

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, January 31st, 2020 at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Ames Chapel Cemetery Fund, c/o Ryan Barwe, 6487 W. County Rd 175S, French Lick, IN 47432
