Joslyn Mark Clarke, 53, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on March 27th, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica on April 4th, 1969 to Esley Leeford Clarke and Gwendolyn Barrett. He was raised by his loving grandmother, Edna Allen, who he credited for making him into the man he was today. In 1993 he welcomed his first son, Andre, with Joan Anderson, with his second son, Shemar, born in 1999. He was also a father to Kimberley.
Joslyn married Althea Quallo on November 1st, 2008. The couple shared a deep and abiding love. He also gained another daughter, Siobhan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother.
Joslyn loved his family above everything. He was a caring father, loving husband, brother, uncle and friend. He had a farmer’s heart and loved being outdoors and working in his small “farm” behind their house. He also enjoyed fixing cars, listening to music and going on trips with his wife and family in “Chaka Blue”. The Christmas decorations on their house were something everyone enjoyed when driving by.
Joslyn was a hard worker. In Jamaica he had worked at the Sandals Resort and operated his own taxi service. His previous employers included Lawery’s Trucking, Big Splash Adventure Hotel and at the time of his passing was an employee at Jasper Rubber.

(3) Grandchildren – Kimorae Graham, Tristan and Camille Clarke

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Higher Ground United Pentecostal Church,
770 Bears Bend Road French Lick, Indiana with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation will be Saturday, May 6th, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at Higher Ground Pentecostal Church.
