Kenneth Gordon Hawkins

Kenneth Gordon Hawkins, 76 years young, of Paoli, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on July 28th, 2017 at his residence.

He was born in Orange County, Indiana on October 8th, 1940 to Nolan Hawkins and Opal (Anderson) Hawkins.

Kenny married Linda Kay Boyer on September 11th, 1960 and she preceded him death on August 7th, 2005.  He then married Wanda Kloss, and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Linda and (2) Sisters – Joan Keith and Mary Jean Martin.  

Kenny was a member of the Paoli Christian Church, a graduate of Springs Valley High School Class of 1959 and enjoyed hunting and fishing until he was unable to do so.

He retired from Purdue Farms (Southern Indiana Purdue Ag Center) in 2005 after 40 years where he was the Beef Research Leader.

Daniel Hawkins French Lick, Indiana

(1) Step-son Brian Kloss (Christy) Paoli, Indiana

FUNERAL SERVICES
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel in French Lick, Indiana. Interment will follow in Cane Creek Cemetery in French Lick, Indiana.

VISITATION
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Brosmer-Kemple Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Cane Creek Cemetery, c/o Darwin Beck, 5090 S. County Rd 1175W, French Lick, IN 47432 or Paoli Christian Church, 1700 W. Hospital Road, Paoli, IN 47454.
