Larry Eugene Chaplin

Larry Eugene Chaplin, 59 of West Baden Springs, Indiana entered into eternal rest on June 9th, 2026 at his residence.

He was born in Paoli, Indiana on November 12th, 1966 to Howard Edward and Virginia (Mattox) Chaplin.

Larry was preceded in death by his Father.

He was a 1986 graduate of Springs Valley High School, worked for Jasper Engines and most recently the French Lick Resort.

Larry loved watching NASCAR especially Dale Earnhardt and UK Basketball.

He is survived by:

Mother – Virginia Chaplin

Brother – Rick Chaplin

Sisters – Brenda Mae Crawford (Chris); Mary Ellen Johnson (Mike) and Janet Marie Taylor

Nieces and Nephews – Ashley Butler (Coty); Michaela Threlkeld; Kizer Threlkeld; Conner Threlkeld; Andrea Crawford; Haley Taylor and Elijah Taylor

Great Nieces and Nephews – Elaina, Aubree and Bentley Butler, and Luna Ford

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Friday, June 12th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow in Old Union Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for friends and family will be Friday, June 12th, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Old Union Cemetery.
