Marilyn Louise Tomlinson

Marilyn Louise “Knight” Tomlinson, 73 of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on October 9th, 2025 at her residence.

She was born in Paoli, Indiana on August 7th, 1952 to Willis Orville and Mildred Louise (Jones) Knight.

Marilyn married Timothy Scott Tomlinson on February 6th, 1970 and their union blessed them with two children.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Brother – Robert “Pi” Knight and Sister – Sandy Rainey.

Marilyn was a member of Springs Valley Wesleyan Church and had worked at the Shoe Factory and French Lick Springs Hotel.

She loved decorating, painting, gardening and collecting angels. She was most proud of being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Seeing her eyes shine with pride and joy when she spoke of her family brightened the world.

The angels gained a shining star, and Marilyn got her wings. Rejoice for her and remember her smile and joy, for this is who she was.

Husband – Tim Tomlinson of French Lick, Indiana

Son – Timothy Ray Tomlinson of French Lick, Indiana

Daughter – Michelle Tomlinson of French Lick, Indiana

Brother – Wayne Knight of French Lick, Indiana

Sister – Darletta Rainey of French Lick, Indiana

Grandchildren - Marla, Jordan, Nathaniel and Brooks

Great-Grandsons – Jaxson, Greyson, Draven, Aeson

She was loved by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were blessed to have shared her life and hold on to her memories created.

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Wednesday, October 15th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, October 14th, 2025 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
