Mary Alice Hatfield

Mary Alice Hatfield, 91, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on September 15th, 2025 at Deaconess Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, Indiana surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Orange County, Indiana on October 26th, 1933 to Harry E. and Hazel Marie (Purkhiser) Knight.

Mary Alice married Jerry Hatfield on October 6th, 1973 and he preceded her in death on May 1st, 2025.

She was also preceded in death by her Parents; Brothers – Kenneth, Harry and David Knight; Sisters – Lenore Knight, Gloria Keeton and Jeanetta Knight.

Mary Alice was a member of Springs Valley Wesleyan Church, had worked at the Shoe Factory and the French Lick Hotel and also babysat.

She enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, reading, yard sales, country drives with Jerry, listening to Jerry play his guitar and sing, attending church and listening to gospel music, taking and helping kids at Summer Bible Camp, but especially loved visiting family and friends and taking care of people.

Marvin E. Hinkle (Sharon) of Beloit, Wisconsin

Daughters – Connie Forbes (Darrell) of French Lick, Indiana

Jentha Robling (Lowell, Jr.) of French Lick, Indiana

Step-Daughter – Bonnie Wininger of Jasper, Indiana

Sisters – Sharon Wright of New Albany, Indiana

Connie Roberts of Huntingburg, Indiana

Several Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Thursday, September 18th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, September 18th, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
