Mary Lee

Mary E. Lee, 89, of French Lick Indiana, entered into eternal rest on September 27th, 2023 at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick, Indiana. 

She was born in Budda, Indiana on December 8th, 1933 to Arthur T. and May Bell (Simmons) Earl.

Mary married Wayne Lee, Jr. on May 16th, 1951 and he preceded her in death on January 23rd, 2005.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, (1) Brother – Claude Earl, (1) Sister-in-law – Joan Earl, (1) Brother-in-law – Ernie Johnson and (2) Nephews – Doug and David Earl.

Mary graduated as Valedictorian from Northwood College with an Accounting Degree. 

She was a member of the Moore’s Ridge Church and Charter Member of the Washington County Humane Society.

Mary enjoyed traveling with her husband, Genealogy, handy crafts, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and was an animal lover.     

She is survived by:

Son – Steven W. Lee (Shirley) of Davenport, Florida

Daughters – Sharon Spencer (Dennis) of Columbus, Indiana
             Debbie Roach (Bob) of French Lick, Indiana

Sister – Ruth Ellen Johnson of Mooresville, Indiana

Several Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Rodney Shelton on Monday, October 2nd, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Dixon Chapel Cemetery in Bedford, Indiana.

VISITATION
Visitation will be on Monday, October 2nd, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Moore’s Ridge Church, 3109 South County Road 500 West, French Lick, Indiana 47432.
