Michael Porter Slaten

Michael Porter Slaten, age 74, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on February 23rd, 2022 at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana.

He was born in Paoli, Indiana on May 9th, 1947 to Jesse P. and Wanda (Radcliff) Slaten.

Michael was preceded in death by his Parents; (1) Infant Daughter – Diana; (1) Brother – Tim Slaten and (2) Sisters – Angela Hutslar and Sheila Pearson.

Michael loved his dog Charlie and taking him on walks.

He is survived by:

(1) Son - Michael P. Slaten, Jr. (Stacy) of Paoli, Indiana

(1) Brother - Phillip Slaten of Paoli, Indiana

(3) Sisters - Lois Nelson of West Baden Springs, Indiana
                Jennifer Cox (Ron) of West Baden Springs, Indiana
                Yolanda Asbell of West Baden Springs, Indiana

(1) Grandson - Matthew Slaten
    
Caretaker - Carol Slaten Ashby

Cremation was chosen and a Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at a later date.
