Nancy "Sue" Hobson

Nancy “Sue” Hobson, 84 of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on April 8th, 2026.

She was born in West Baden Springs, Indiana on November 11th, 1941 to Lynden Lester and Susie Lanie (Emmons) Land.

Sue married Frank Hobson on March 2nd, 1958 and he survives. They just recently celebrated 68 years together.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Son – Lynden “Lyn” Paul Hobson; Older Brother – Lester Land; Older Sisters – Mildred Merkel (Dave) and Irene “Jean” Waters (Kenny).

Sue graduated from Springs Valley High School, was a member of PEO, a lifetime member of Eastern Star, active member of Springs Valley Christian Church, Bible Study, Book Clubs and had previously been an Indiana Landmarks tour guide.

She enjoyed painting, any craft, loved playing cards and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all of her grandchildren. Sue was a friend to all.

Sue is survived by:

Husband – Frank Hobson

Daughter – Cristie “Cris” Hobson

Son – Anthony “Tony” Hobson

Daughter-in-law – Jean Hobson (Lyn)

Grandchildren – Jacob Hobson, Kelsey Talbott, Lucas Hobson and Darcy Reynolds

CELEBRATION OF LIFE

A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Brother Jack Wilson on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home. A Private Burial will be at Mount Lebanon Cemetery at a later date.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mount Lebanon Cemetery, c/o Shane Buffington 7735 W. County Pike, West Baden Springs, IN 47469.
