Norma K. Jacobs

French Lick

Norma K. Jacobs, 92, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on April 11th, 2026 at Springs Valley Meadows in French Lick.

She was born in Orange County, Indiana on January 6th, 1934 to Harry and Alma (Qualkenbush) Kerby.

Norma married Glen “Lefty” Jacobs on September 25th, 1954 and he preceded her in death on June 9th, 2000.

She was also preceded in death by her Parents, Brother – Forrest Kerby, and Sister – Donna Holmes.

Norma was a 1950 graduate of West Baden High School and had worked at the Sheraton Hotel.

She enjoyed working outside doing yard work, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, but especially loved her family.

Norma is survived by:

Son – Roger Jacobs (Jill)

Daughters – Debra Beatty (Dan) and Susan Wilson (Phillip)

Grandchildren – Rachel Young (Brad), Matthew Jacobs (Brian), Michael Jacobs, Paige Miley (Johnathan) and Stephen Jacobs.

Great-Grandchildren – Bryson Young, Makenna Young, and one on the way David John Miley.

Bonus Great-Grandchildren – Malakai and Addalynn

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, April 18th, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home and on Sunday, April 19th, 2026 from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 p.m. A Graveside Ceremony will then be held at 1:30 p.m. at Emmons Ridge Cemetery with burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be to Emmons Ridge Cemetery, c/o Kathy Kalb, 2494 Hillham Road, French Lick, IN 47432.
