Opal Anna Burton, 95, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on March 3rd, 2021 at Mitchell Manor in Mitchell, Indiana.
She was born in Dubois County, Indiana on June 24th, 1925 to Perry F. Stevens and Bertie B. (Harris) Stevens.
Opal married Charles Norman Burton on May 9th, 1945 and he preceded her in death on November 13th, 1994.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; (2) Sisters – Mary Oakley and Ruby Qualkenbush; (4) Brothers –
Floyd, William, Robert and infant brother Kenneth; and (1) Granddaughter – Kimberly Dauwn Hall.
Opal had attended The Church at Powell Valley and had worked in sales and was a housewife.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren
whom she dearly loved.
Opal is survived by:

Norman E. Burton of Owingsville, Kentucky
Charles “Chuck” Burton (Sierra) Lawrenceburg, Kentucky
(2) Brothers Ernest Stevens (Opal Lea) of French Lick, Indiana
Perry Dean Stevens (Janet) of French Lick, Indiana
(1) Sister Betty Moffatt of Augusta, Georgia
(4) Grandchildren Martel Burton, Byron Scott, Shaylyn Webb (Justin) and Chanda Burton
(3) Great-Grandchildren David Michael Hall, Kensley Kidd and Maisey Jo-anna Rice

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Randy Stevens on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at
Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana with burial to follow in Crystal Community Cemetery,
Crystal, Indiana.
VISITATION
Visitation will be Friday, March 5th, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home and on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing (6 ft). If you are showing symptoms of illness (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting or diarrhea) please do not attend.
