Phillis J. Rominger, 82, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on January 24th, 2024 at Springs Valley Meadows,
French Lick, Indiana.
She was born in French Lick, Indiana on January 2nd, 1942 to Phillip and Myrtle (Burton) Anderson.
Phillis married Jerry Rominger on June 17th, 1961 and he preceded her in death on August 22nd, 2023.
She was also preceded in death by her Parents and Half-Brother – James Burton.
Phillis was a 1960 graduate of Springs Valley High School and received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Evansville. She retired from Springs Valley Community Schools where she taught in the elementary school.
She was a member of Beechwood Christian Church, French Lick – West Baden Museum, and was a tour guide for many years at the West Baden Springs Hotel with Indiana Landmarks.
Phillis enjoyed oil painting, gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by:
Son – Jerry P. “Butch” Rominger (Shine) of Bloomington, Indiana
Brother – Louis Anderson (Dana) of French Lick, Indiana
Grandchildren – Timothy Rominger (Katie) and Tabitha Rominger
Half-Sister – Betty Logan
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Monday, January 29th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation for friends will be on Monday, January 29th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
