He was born in West Baden Springs, Indiana on February 25th, 1936 to Dempsey Nelson and Laura Catherine (Spoonmore) Watts.
Bob married Annetta Reynolds on August 24th, 1957 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his Parents; Siblings died in childhood – Elsie, Claude, Clifford, Anna and Mary; Brothers – Roy Elmer, Harold and Orville; Sisters – Marilyn Watts, Mable Wilson, Audra Apple, Myrtle Taylor, Bessie Kearby and Agnes Gromer.
Bob was a member of Cane Creek Christian Church, attended Highland Chapel and Springs Valley Wesleyan Church.
He was a livestock dealer and retired as a union brick mason. Bob spent most of his life farming and raising livestock.
Bob is survived by:
Wife – Annetta Watts
Son – Mike Watts
Daughters – Barbara Meehan (Danny), Jill Elkins (Eric) and Sandi Flick (Eric)
(8) Grandchildren and (10) Great- Grandchildren
FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt and Simon Schwartz on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, April 6th, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cane Creek Cemetery, c/o Darwin Beck, 5090 S. County Road 1175 W., French Lick, IN 47432, Highland Chapel Cemetery, c/o Vonda Albright, 11097 Country Pines Road, Shoals, IN 47581 or Springs Valley Wesleyan Church, 586 S. Indiana Avenue, French Lick, IN 47432.
