Rosalee Studer-Kleiser, age 82, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on March 31st, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Jasper, Indiana on September 23rd, 1938 to Carl Fleck and Louise (Miller) Fleck.
Rosalee married Jack Leo Studer on February 7th, 1957 and he preceded her in death on February 2nd, 1993. She then married Alfred Kleiser on November 29th, 2002 and he preceded her in death on October 8th, 2012.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; (2) Sisters – Francis Frick and Anna Mae Lasher; and
(1) Brother – Clarence Fleck.
Rosalee was a 1956 graduate of Jasper High School, a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church and
OLS Ladies Club. She had also served as a Eucharistic Minister.
She was previously a member of the Red Hats Society, Friends of the Melton Public Library, the French Lick – West Baden Historical Society and AC Chapter of P.E.O. Sisterhood.
Rosalee had worked at Head Start, French Lick Sheraton Hotel and retired from Springs Valley Bank and Trust where she was a customer service representative.
She enjoyed gardening, watching movies, her church and church family, and loved music and playing the accordion.
Rosalee is survived by:
(1) Son John Studer (Sandy) of Salt Springs, Florida
(2) Daughters Joyce Studer Howlett (Robert) of Burkesville, Kentucky
Janet Epperson (James) of French Lick, Indiana
(1) Sister Mary Lou Campbell (Paul) of Englewood, Florida
(4) Grandchildren (1) Great-Grandchild
A Funeral Mass will be conducted by the Very Rev. Joseph Moriarty on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at
Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, French Lick, Indiana.
Visitation for friends will be Monday, April 5th, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home,
French Lick, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church,
8796 W. State Rd 56, French Lick, IN 47432 in honor of Rosalee Studer-Kleiser.
Guests are required to wear masks and practice social distancing.
