Sheila Dawn (Brosmer) Self, 67 years young, of Jasper, Indiana, formerly of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 28th, 2017 at her residence.
She was born in French Lick, Indiana on September 1st, 1949 to Arthur Leo Brosmer and Lorena Marie (Mills) Brosmer.
Sheila married James Ray Self on April 4th, 1970 and he preceded her in death on May 3rd, 1990.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, (1) son â Thomas Darrin Self on August 12th, 1997 and (1) son-in-law â Anthony Nelson Terry on July 18th, 2006.
Sheila was a 1967 graduate of Springs Valley High School and a 1970 graduate of Northwood Institute of Indiana with three degrees, a member of Phi Beta Psi Sorority and formerly attended Cuzco Christian Church.
Her favorite place to stay during the summer was Wild Ridge Resort and she loved boating on her pontoon boat at Patoka Lake.
Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she loved to collect all types of Angels, Snowmen and Frog figurines and the mini Radio Flyers. She also loved going to the Covered Bridge Festival every fall and shop at Antique stores and flea markets.
She knocked two things off of her bucket list â she got to see Cher in concert twice.
She was a supervisor at Jasper Desk upon retirement.

(4) Grandchildren Keana Rae Moffatt, Tanner Kodee Self, Kamber Tomee Wolfe and Raven Dawn Cross
(2) Step- Grandchildren Cheryl Ann Redden and Melanie Lynn Redden
Her beloved pets Frank (Pug), Dakotah (Husky), MeeMee (little fat cat) and Tiffany (Queen of the house)
CELEBRATION OF LIFE CEREMONY
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at Brosmer- Kemple Chapel.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 4th, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at Brosmer-Kemple Chapel.
Private burial will take place at a later date.
