Sheryl Parsons

Sheryl Parsons, 83, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on June 1st, 2025 at Legacy Living in Jasper, Indiana.

She was born in Jackson Township, Indiana on April 10th, 1942 to Lloyd Walters and Frances (Galloway) Lashbrooks.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her Parents; Step-Mother – Katherine Walters; Step-Father – Winston Lashbrooks;

Sister – Wilma Sue Mason; and Brother – Charles Wayne “Bud” Walters.

She was a 1960 graduate of Springs Valley High School and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the French Lick American Legion.

Sheryl retired after 30 years from Crane where she received multiple awards and accommodations.

She enjoyed traveling, dancing, wine, and her family.

Sons - Billy Shipman (Jennifer) of West Baden Springs, Indiana and Robin Parsons (Flora) of Alexandria, Virginia

Brother – Jim Lashbrooks (Connie) of French Lick, Indiana

Sister – Marina K. Jones (Hank) of Willis, Texas

Companion - Lee Gray of French Lick, Indiana

Several Nieces, Nephews and Grandchildren

The family would like to thank Memorial Hospital and Healthcare, Brookside Nursing and Rehabilitation, Heart to Heart Hospice, and an extra special thank you to Legacy Living Memory Care Unit who were like family and we are forever grateful for their service.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Sulphur Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Legacy Living Memory Care Unit, 1850 W. State Road 56, Jasper, IN 47546 or French Lick American Legion Post 76, 8607 W. Main Street, French Lick, IN 47432.
