Stephen Stackhouse

Stephen T. Stackhouse, 68, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on August 21st, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

He was born in Salem, Indiana on December 9th, 1954 to Richard L. and Esther Pauline (Harris) Stackhouse.

Steve married Janet L. DeWeese on October 25th, 1974 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his Parents; (1) Brother – Nicky; (1) Sister – Glenda Breedlove and (1) Niece – Kara Breedlove.

Steve was a 1972 graduate of the Springs Valley High School and a member of the Crystal Community Church.

He worked at the Marathon Gas Station in French Lick from 1979-1988, Reynolds Construction from 1988-2004 and Jasper Bolt and Screw from 2004-until his retirement, where he worked in sales.

Steve enjoyed watching basketball, especially Northeast Dubois and IU, NASCAR, playing guitar and spending time with his family.

He is survived by:

Wife – Janet Stackhouse of French Lick, Indiana

Son – Michael Stackhouse (Sarah) of Paoli, Indiana 
 
Daughters – Stacey Stackhouse of French Lick, Indiana
         Sarah Stackhouse of French Lick, Indiana

Brother – Richard “Dick” Stackhouse of West Baden Springs, Indiana

Sisters – Ricki Willoughby (Terry) of Bedford, Indiana 
     Kim Wilkinson (Eric) of West Baden Springs, Indiana    

Brother-in-Law – Jerry Breedlove of French Lick, Indiana

Sister-in-Law – Sherry Stackhouse of West Baden Springs, Indiana

Grandchildren – Elizabeth Anne Stackhouse and Damion Weaver
 

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Mike Stout on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Crystal Community Church, Crystal, Indiana with burial to follow at Crystal Community Cemetery.

VISITATION 
Visitation for friends and family will be Saturday, August 26th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Crystal Community Church.
