Steve J. Kacocha, 77, of West Baden Springs, Indiana entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 16th, 2020 at Jewish Hospital Downtown, Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 24th, 1943 to John Kacocha and Anne (Gudz) Kacocha.
Steve married Carol J. Rybicki on April 12th, 1969 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Steve was a 1961 graduate of George Rogers Clark High School in Hammond, Indiana and then proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1965-1967 serving in Vietnam.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church and retired from Inland Steel where he worked as an electrician for 38 years.
Steve loved fishing, especially catching salmon from Lake Michigan, the outdoors, gardening and spending time with his family.

FUNERAL MASS
A Funeral Mass will be conducted by Father Peter Gallagher at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020 at
Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church, French Lick, Indiana.
VISITATION WILL BE PRIVATE.
We ask that all who attend please comply to social distancing guidelines and wear a face covering while paying your respects during the funeral mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Springs Valley Food Pantry, c/o Maxine Wininger, 1370 S. Indiana Avenue, French Lick, IN 47432 or the Orange County Humane Society, 85 N. Greenbriar Drive, Paoli, IN 47454.
