Thaddies Newton

Thaddies Newton, age 94, of English, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on May 29th, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Eckerty, Indiana on April 30th, 1928 to Howard and Francis (Wieber) Newton.

Thaddies married Kathryn Eckert on July 14th, 1951 and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; (2) Brothers – Gerald and Clifford Newton; (2) Sisters – Nora Rupp and Verlea Roberts; and (1) Grandson – Michael Chad Hammond.

Thaddies was the owner and operator of Newton’s Planning and Sawmill for over 60 years. 

He loved farming and cattle and when he was able, he enjoyed coon hunting, shooting matches, and hunting and eating mushrooms.

Thaddies is survived by:

Wife – Kathryn Newton of English, Indiana

(2) Daughters – Penny Sue Hammond (Gary) of English, Indiana
         Cindy Annette Poindexter (Lyndon) of Cloverdale, Indiana

(1) Sister – Fern Roberson of New Albany, Indiana
            
(4) Grandchildren – Misty Dawn Hammond-Kalb, Travis Hammond, Trinity Faletic and Amber Jolliff

(7) Great-Grandchildren

CREMATION
Cremation was chosen with a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
