Thelma Emmons, 88, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on May 5th, 2024 at the Timbers of Jasper in Jasper, Indiana.
She was born in French Lick, Indiana on August 30th, 1935 to Arthur and Blanche (Hobson) Brown.
Thelma married Estel Emmons on December 22nd, 1954 and he survives.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Sister – Janice Apple, Half-Brother – Kenneth (Stovepipe) Brown and
Son-in-Law – Ralph McBride.
Thelma was a 1954 graduate of French Lick High School, and very active on the alumni committee, and a member of Crystal Community Church, where she was treasurer for many years.
She had worked at Kimball’s and the Shoe Factory in Paoli, but was best known for her years as a seamstress.
So many people went to Thelma for their alterations and mending.
Thelma enjoyed reading, had been on a bowling league, but most of all she loved being with her family.

Angie McBride of French Lick, Indiana

(13) Great-Grandchildren - Jaron Alexander, Jayton Alexander, Joely Alexander, Payton Buffington, Addi Pieper, Blake Buffington, Cash Ridenour, Emerson Kellams, Hank Ridenour, Reece Kellams, Jewell Clara Ridenour, Renly Kellams, and Rogan Kellams.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony for Estel and Thelma will be conducted by Pastor Mike Stout on Saturday, May 11th, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Emmons Ridge Cemetery.
VISITATION
Visitation for Estel and Thelma will be Saturday, May 11th, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
