Ute Land

Ute Land, 91, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on April 11th, 2026.

She was born in Merseburg, Germany on August 31st, 1934 to Joachim Fredrich and Elisabeth (Loehrke) Schone, but was raised in Berlin, Germany.

Ute married Roy Land and he survives.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Son – Kevin Land, Sisters – Ursula Glanville, Brunhilde Curtis and Jutta Elleighoe, and Brother – Jurgen Schone.

Ute is survived by:

Husband – Roy Land

Sons – Roy Daniel Land, Vincent Scott Land and Michael John Land

Daughter – Susanne Manuela Broughton

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Springs Catholic Church in French Lick, Indiana. Burial will follow in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
