Virginia Ellen Brown

Virginia Ellen Brown, 89, of French Lick, Indiana entered into eternal rest on February 3rd, 2021 at Paoli Health and Living in Paoli, Indiana.

She was born in Paoli, Indiana on June 4th, 1931 to Elvin Leo Walls and Olive Faith (Lane) Dailey.

Virginia married Wayne Clayse Brown on April 8th, 1954 and he preceded her in death October 27th, 1994.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; (1) Daughter – Donna McCabe on April 23rd, 1996; and (2) Brothers – Elvis C. Walls and Donald Walls.
 
Virginia was a graduate of Paoli High School and member of the Springs Valley United Methodist Church in French Lick.

She was a volunteer at Orange County Hospital for several years and enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting and traveling.

Virginia is survived by:

Grandson Matthew Dailey McCabe (Amanda) Paoli, Indiana

Granddaughter Megan Jeanette (McCabe) Grider (Jason) Franklin, Indiana

(2) Sisters Delores Stroud Paoli, Indiana
Carolyn Shaner Franklin, Pennsylvania

(4) Great-Grandchildren Savana McCabe Calvin (Ray) Paoli, Indiana
Daniel McCabe Paoli, Indiana
Maximus Grider Franklin, Indiana
Chloe Grider Franklin, Indiana

And (1) Great-Great-Grandchild on the way.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Rev. Doug Finney on Monday, February 8th, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana with burial to follow in Moores Ridge Cemetery, French Lick, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may call on Monday, February 8th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Moores Ridge Cemetery Fund, c/o Charles Crecelius, 3109 S. County Rd 500 W., French Lick, IN 47432.
